Australand (ALZ) is one of Australia’s major diversified property groups. Australand was listed on the Australian and Singapore Stock Exchanges in June 1997 and has been involved in property development for over 85 years.

Australand owns, develops and manages property across Australia and operates in three primary business segments: Investment Property, Commercial & Industrial and Residential.

The Investment Property portfolio is diversified geographically with the majority of assets located within the major population centres of New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria and is well balanced in the industrial and office sectors.

Australand’s Property Portfolio is valued at $2.1 billion and comprises 69 properties, with a total lettable area of approximately 1.1 million square metres.

Australand is one of Australia’s largest industrial property owners with a modern portfolio of prime assets occupied by quality tenants. The bulk of the portfolio is located in Australia’s major population centres predominantly along the eastern seaboard.

As at 30 June 2011, the Australand industrial portfolio comprised 47 income producing properties with a total lettable area of 820,000 square metres. The industrial portfolio had an average lease term of 5.7 years (by income) and was 100% occupied.

Australand owns a large portfolio of quality office assets predominantly located within Sydney and Melbourne.

As at 30 June 2011 the Australand office portfolio comprised 13 properties with a total lettable area of 225,000 square metres. The office portfolio had an average lease term of 4.7 years (by income) and an occupancy rate of 100%.

The Australand portfolio is further diversified through ownership of a number of other commercial assets. The largest of these is the Freshwater Place Car Park which is located within Melbourne’s Freshwater Place development.
