Bob Johnston
Managing Director
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (First Class Honours), James Cook University, Townsville, North Queensland. Appointed Managing Director of Australand in August 2007. Prior to joining Australand, Mr Johnston held a number of senior management positions with Lend Lease in the USA, UK, Asia and Australia. Most recently, Mr Johnston was Global CEO of Bovis Lend Lease (based in London) where he was responsible for a business with revenues in excess of $10bn and 9,500 people across the globe. Positions held prior to this included CEO of Bovis Lend Lease Asia Pacific and COO of Lend Lease Real Estate Investments in the USA. Mr Johnston joined the Lend Lease Group in August 1988. He has 20 years of experience in the property industry.

Sean McMahon
Executive General Manager, Commercial & Industrial
BBus RMIT University Melbourne – Valuation & Investment Management, AIVLE, Advanced Diploma in Real Estate Mr McMahon has over 20 years experience across a diverse array of property related activities. He has primarily held senior positions in leading International Real Estate and Valuation practices, Development Companies and in an Investment Banking Group specialising in Joint Venture and Structured Finance. He joined Australand in June 2000 as a Senior Development Executive and has progressed through the business to his current position as Executive General Manager of the Commercial & Industrial business, appointed in December 2007. He has substantial broad industry expertise and experience in Valuation and Property Analysis, Development and Investment Management, Master Planning and Planning, Delivery, Finance and General Business Management.

Peter Burke
Executive General Manager, Residential
L.R.E.A, and Member of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria. Mr Burke has over 35 years experience in the real estate and housing industries, with emphasis on management, marketing and sales. He joined Australand in April 1996 as State Manager, Victoria and in 1997 was appointed General Manager, Victoria – Land and Housing Division. In March 2004, Mr Burke was appointed Executive General Manager, Land and Housing Division and in February 2005, the Land and Housing and Apartments Divisions were merged and Mr Burke was appointed Executive General Manager, Residential heading up the new Division. Prior to joining Australand, from 1991, Mr Burke held the position of General Manager of Executive Homes and for the 10 years prior was the Victorian Housing Manager for AV Jennings.

Tiernan O'Rourke
Chief Financial Officer
BComm (Honours), University College Dublin, CA, Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, MBA, University of Technology, Sydney. Mr O’Rourke worked previously for AGL Limited where he was responsible for all aspects of AGL’s financial management and internal and external reporting as well as the Group’s financial service centre. During his 20 years of experience, Mr O’Rourke has been employed by various Australian public companies in senior financial, commercial and management roles including companies such as Westfield Holdings Limited, CSR Limited and Brambles Australia Limited. Mr O’Rourke commenced his career in financial management at Ernst & Young where he was an audit manager.

Michael Newsom
General Counsel and Head of Corporate Risk Management
BA LLB, Australian National University, Canberra, Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW, Admitted to practise in the Federal and High Courts of Australia, FCIS Mr Newsom has over 30 years experience in commercial and corporate law, litigation, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and corporate administration both in private legal practice and in large publicly listed companies across the property, building materials, petroleum and financial services industries. Mr Newsom joined Australand in August 2000, prior to which he held the positions of Company Secretary and General Counsel of Pioneer International Limited and Ampol Limited. Mr Newsom is also responsible for the Australand Group’s Corporate Risk Management.

Bev Booker
Company Secretary
BBus (Acctg) University of Technology, Sydney, FCIS, FCPA, FAICD, Company Directors’ Advanced Diploma. Ms Booker has broad skills and experience across a wide range of business areas including company secretarial, compliance, risk management, strategic and operational planning and management reporting. Prior to joining Australand in October 2006, Ms Booker held a number of senior management roles including the position of Company Secretary/General Manager Risk & Compliance for the Australian Agricultural Company Limited and Group Company Secretary of AMP Limited. In 2002 Ms Booker completed a 12-month contract with Standards Australia International developing the series of Australian Standards on Corporate Governance.

Chris Warrell
General Manager Human Resources
BEngCivil (Honours), Sydney University, GAICD. Mr Warrell brings over 25 years experience across a broad spectrum of site, project and general management responsibilities with companies including Lend Lease, Cathay Pacific and Boral. He worked as a project manager on industrial, aged care, high-rise commercial, hotel and data centre projects for the early part of his career. He was the General Manager of an international firm of architects from 1995 to 1997. For the past 10 years, Mr Warrell has been focusing on Human Resources function within the real estate sector. Mr Warrell joined Australand in October 2004, prior to which he held various senior HR roles with Lend Lease and Boral.
